There’s no need to feel restricted to the three-minute narrative non-fiction anecdote, or fictional parable, delivered in a keynote, pep talk, or in a business book.
There are other genres of business storytelling, ones you might not even associate with business. Such as:
The short story or serial in text on your site or Facebook page
The video serial (via TV spots, short videos on YouTube or elsewhere)
The documentary (long or short form)
The cartoon (single panel or strip)
The short fictional film
The graphic novel
The novella
The poem
The live event
Music
Living history
Diorama
And then, of course, there’s the mixed grill of transmedia storytelling: taking a single story and turning it into an entire world spread out across several genres and media platforms.
But what have I missed?
